A native of New York City, Theo Padouvas began playing trumpet at the age of 8. After attending the famous Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, he went on to attend The New England Conservatory in Boston, MA where he received a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Trumpet Performance. Currently he is living in the San Francisco Bay Area playing with local greats Kapowski, Naytronix, Lawson, and The Oakland Active Orchestra. Theo Padouvas has had the privilege of studying and/or working with John McNeil, Russ Johnson, Laurie Frink, John Malia, Joe Morris, Jerry Bergonzi, Cecil McBee, Frank Karlberg, and Bob Moses.
